About Jim
Hi! I'm Jim! I'm a Voice Over Artist based on the Isle of Anglesey, and a lover of all things nerdy. Being born in Bangor, Gwynedd, and growing up here amongst the beautiful scenery in North Wales, I can't help but feel a profound pride in where I come from.
Growing up, my family helped me develop a deep love of storytelling, with many of them having wonderfully diverse styles that have helped inform my own voice and performances. This adoration only grew when I discovered Sci-Fi and Fantasy stories, including story-rich video games and tabletop role-playing games like Dungeons and Dragons.
Having spent the majority of my career before Voice Over in Customer Service Call Centres and TEFL Classrooms, I've come to really appreciate the power behind using the right voice in the right situation.
With voice-over training from Gary Terzza's VO Masterclass and acting training from other sources, I'd love to help bring your project's story to life!
Jim's Home Studio Set-Up
Whilst I'm willing to travel to any studio required for your project, I have a comfortable home studio, used for audio recordings to fit your project's needs, and to help provide reliable turnaround times. My set-up includes:

- Interface: Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen
- DAW: Audacity
- Recording Treatment: Soundproof Room, TroyStudio Portable Recording Booth
Mission Statement
My mission is to use my voice to bring projects to life through authentic performances, compelling storytelling, and professional service, with the belief that each and every human voice has a story to tell. No matter the medium, I aim to help my clients tell theirs through my performance. Each recording will be approached with the same passion for creativity and collaboration that leaves a lasting impression on each project’s audience.
I also firmly believes in protections for performers regarding the use of Generative A.I. in performative spaces. Informed consent, fair compensation and human control are all vital in the protection of Voice Over Artists and other performers.
